About

In partnership with Roger Neilson House, The Ottawa Hospital REaCT (Rethinking Clinical Trials) Program, and QuickStart (Early Intervention for Autism), the Freemasons of Ottawa and the surrounding region are pleased to announce their 16th Annual Valentine’s Charity Ball fundraiser to be held on Saturday, February 8th, 2020. Over 300 people will attend this event at the Centurion Conference & Event Centre. The evening will consist of a great dinner, a Silent Auction, and dancing to the Fabulous Heartbeats.

For over a decade, the Valentine’s Charity Ball (VCB) has been one event the Freemasons of Ottawa look forward to the most. During the time of year traditionally symbolizing love, it is an opportunity for the fraternity to come together and support worthy charitable causes in the community.

The VCB has raised over $150,000 in the past 15 years for local charities. The money is raised via ticket sales, and the event’s legendary silent auction.

All proceeds from ticket sales (above the cost of the venue) and the silent auction are donated to the supported charities. The event features a cocktail hour, followed by a delicious dinner, and live music and dancing courtesy of the Fabulous Heartbeats.

Some of the past recipients include: The Dave Smith Youth Treatment Centre, Roger Neilson House, Ottawa Parkinson’s Society, Starlight Foundation, Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society, CHEO, and Prostate Cancer Research.

Join us this year as the VCB supports Roger Neilson House, The Ottawa Hospital REaCT (Rethinking Clinical Trials) Program, and QuickStart (Early Intervention for Autism).
